Choose the learning goals

  • Everyday computer and file-management tasks
  • Productivity applications and collaboration
  • New equipment or workflow handover
  • Questions specific to your team

Choose a practical learning goal

Tell us what you want to do independently, such as organizing files, using email or completing a regular office task. Include the device and applications you use and any accessibility or pacing preference that would help the session. A focused goal makes progress easier to assess.

Prepare non-confidential examples and a short list of questions. Discuss whether training is for one person or a group and what equipment is available. Agree which tasks to practice and whether a written reference would help the learner repeat the steps afterward.

Before we get started

Tell us the applications, skill level, group size and tasks you want people to complete confidently. Session content and availability are agreed in advance.
