Plan the installation
- Device and coverage requirements
- Equipment placement and cabling needs
- Wireless access and guest access
- Configuration documentation and handover
Design around the intended use
List the people, computers, printers and other devices that need access, along with the spaces where wireless coverage matters. Include applications that rely on local servers, remote access or a stable connection. A small office expansion can change cabling, power and equipment-placement requirements.
Before installation, discuss who owns the equipment, who approves configuration changes and how the existing settings will be documented. Agree which connections and workflows will be tested at handover. If guest access or separate device groups are required, include those needs in the project scope.
Before we get started
Provide the location, approximate device count and any existing network documentation. Scheduling, equipment and installation scope are confirmed before work.
